On July 9th, the Blue Shield PI Pedro Seabra participated as a guest speaker of the Jean Monnet Summer School on EU Policy Making: Exploring the external dimensions of EU policy-making, jointly organised by VUB Brussels School of Governance and NOVA FCSH, which brought over 40 European student participants to Col\u00e9gio Alfredo Negreiros, in Lisbon. In this context, he delivered a session on European Maritime Security, focusing on the strategic evolution of the EU as a maritime security actor, its key instruments and operations, and the main dilemmas and priorities for the years ahead.
